Saturday 4th July - from 10am to 4pm Vegan lunch included Become familiar with breath physiology and anatomy Understand science behind yogic breathing practices Learn ancient techniques to treat modern ailments Overview In both modern medicine and traditional yoga, the breath is recognised as one of the most powerful interfaces between body and mind. It is the only autonomic function we can consciously regulate - giving us a direct gateway into the nervous system, emotional brain, stress physiology, and healing processes. This experiential workshop is designed to bridge science and practice, combining respiratory physiology, neuroscience, and yogic breathwork into a clinically relevant and personally transformative day. Dr Hosn integrates his background in medicine with the traditional teachings of yoga to offer a grounded and scientific, and interactive experiential, and workshop. You will learn: Throughout the workshop, we will explore how specific breathing techniques influence: The autonomic nervous system Vagal tone and heart rate variability Stress hormone regulation Cognitive clarity and brain function Sleep, fatigue, and resilience You will gain both an intellectual understanding and a lived experience of how breath can be used therapeutically. What to Bring: *mats and equipment available at the studio if required* • Yoga mat • Comfortable clothing • Water bottle • Journal / notebook Who It’s for: • Beginners to advanced practitioners • Anyone wanting to learn to use breath to improve stress, fatigue, anxiety or tension • People wanting a holistic reset or deeper understanding of yoga and pranayama • Professionals seeking evidence-based mind-body tools

Event Policy – Prana Wellness Hub Important Notes: Arrive at least 5 minutes early to ensure we start on time - classes start on time and the doors will be locked. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat if you have one. If not, we provide mats, bolsters, and cushions for your use. Please inform us in advance if you have any injuries, physical limitations, or if you are pregnant so we can support your practice accordingly. Carpark: There are reserved 3 spots for Prana's customers. Otherwise street parking or the multilevel carpark across the road - first 4 hour is free! Cancellations: Events/workshops - at least 48 hours prior to the event are eligible for a refund, minus a $10 admin fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event. However, you may transfer your spot to another person - please provide their name and email to pranawellnesshub@gmail.com. Photography & Digital Images: Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear in any images, please let us know in advance. Please note: during busy or highly social events, we may not be able to guarantee complete privacy.
